Opiate users on the other hand will need to increase the dosage frequently in order to experience the same high. Contrary to what you may be thinking, new runners don’t feel more euphoria than those runners who have been running for many years. In fact, it’s the exact opposite.
Interestingly enough, running is also often recommended for people who are suffering from depression, in that the continual release of endorphins can help to alleviate the condition.
